The Seattle Brain Cancer Walk

Over 25,000 people will be diagnosed with a malignant primary brain tumor this year. Radiation and surgery are the standard options for treatment but have only a 35% survival rate. Researchers at the Ben and Catherine Ivy Center for Advanced Brain Tumor Research at Swedish are currently developing personalized therapies. These therapies will treat glioblastoma, an aggressive and common form of brain cancer.
