The Seattle Brain Cancer Walk

Over 25,000 people will be diagnosed with a malignant primary brain tumor this year. Radiation and surgery are the standard options for treatment but have only a 35% survival rate. Researchers at the Ben and Catherine Ivy Center for Advanced Brain Tumor Research at Swedish are currently developing personalized therapies. These therapies will treat glioblastoma, an aggressive and common form of brain cancer.

Swedish wants your support. Join others virtually on Sunday, May 1st and Walk Your Way. We’d love to see you out and about in your neighborhood during walk time—or whenever works for you – as we take over the Greater Seattle Area and beyond. Register as a virtual walker and show your support and help researchers find a cure for glioblastoma.
