Washington’s largest winery, Chateau Ste. Michelle, is putting up the for sale sign on its Woodinville property.

The 118-acre property, along with the signature Chateau on all the bottles of wine the company produces, was listed earlier this month as production shifts to their second location in Canoe Ridge, Wash.

The price was not disclosed.

“The property listing includes Ste. Michelle’s chateau, tasting rooms, a banquet facility, office space, a theatre, a 100,000+ square foot warehouse, and 50,000 square feet of barrel storage,” the Washington Wine Report said.

Ste. Michelle currently makes its white wine at the Woodinville location, more than 200 miles from its vineyards near Tri-Cities. The move to Canoe Ridge will allow the winery to consolidate its operations: Chateau Ste. Michelle had produced red wine at Canoe Ridge since 1993.

In a statement, the company says the Woodinville location has resulted “in decades of shipping millions of gallons of white wine,” and “burning 75-thousand-gallons of diesel” each year.
