The second installment of the Cactus League Report is a one-hour special leading into the Mariners night game against Cleveland. Aaron Goldsmith, Rick Rizzs, Shannon Drayer and Mike Blowers give their thoughts on the spring so far. Shannon talks to Felix Hernandez about his offseason, working with Carlos Ruiz and his expectations for the WBC. Rick sits down with Kyle Seager who talks about his offseason featuring the birth of a daughter, how he prepares for a 162-game season and about his baseball playing family. Aaron talks with Mariners closer Edwin Diaz about his whirlwind year taking him from a starter at AA, converting to a reliever and then closer. Not only that but his son was born during the All-Star break. He talks about how he worked Joaquin Benoit to make his slider into the weapon it is now. He says he's perfectly fine spending the rest of his career as a closer.
